Martha Scanlan, Acoustic Bridge Presents, Fort Collins, January 31, 2012.Martha Scanlan brought her light, lilting country-flavored music to Fort Collins, playing a house concert for private promoter Acoustic Bridge Presents on January 31. Scanlan's latest project is called the Tongue River Stories, an evolving song cycle about her experiences on a rugged ranch in Montana, and her date in Fort Collins reunited her with Colorado musicians Erin and Aaron Youngberg, who helped Scanlan record the initial tracks in Montana along with guitarist Jon Neufeld.Photos by Tim Van Schmidt
